Now Newfie's are water dogs:
So you expect them to swim...
But not necessarily in fountains:
The next problem is to get them out again!
This can be quite a problem (on what rates as a hot day for a Newfie).
Still when you get the little chap home, he does like to assist in any building work/projects going on:
He likes to take an interest and get right up close to determine what's going on
And in between times he does like to survey from a comfortable position:
But all this supervisory work can get quite tiring:
And sometimes he just has to crash:
And normally he'll come upstairs to check on me during the night and it's not unusual to find the little chap keeping an eye on me from my bedroom door:
We've been out flying:
I also sneaked off for a week's flying in the South of France, and mainly Jan looked after Kin. David did pop over and take him for a trip and keep him company. I'm not sure who else lended a hand. Especially big thank you to everyone who helped out, meaning that I could relax whilst on holiday.
We had quite a lot of cloud in France, but I gather that was nothing compared to what I missed in Stavanger (above two pics show flying through clouds in France).
We've also been on some trips:
Here with the 'Columbian Mafia', Gloria, Maria, and the apprentice, Sara, who's only 1/2 Columbian.
And when it comes to trips, many trips to Bråstein where he likes to meet and greet, here he's trying very hard to greet a Pug on heat!
And he's also got a new play mate, Porthos, a nine month old Newfie:
